IPL - Indian Political League

Hi Nilesh here once again. last time I was speaking about IPL this time I want to write some thing about today’s political conditions. in fact today’s unstable condition of central government. as there is confidence motion on 22nd of July.
For this condition left parties are totally responsible. They people don’t want Nuclear deal. (Only because of America? If this deal was with Russia or with China then what will be their move? What do you feel friends?) congress told them we will arrange a committee in that there will be left parties leader UPA leader and scientists. But they people don’t want scientist in that committee!!!! Why???
Even Dr Abdul Kalam and most of our scientist and specialist people describe this fact that this deal is very beneficial for us.
Also other important thing is BJP can’t do much on this issue. As they oppose left and also congress. They just want emotional topic like ‘Ram setu’, ‘Amarnath Bhukhand’ etc. but they have topic like ‘Dearth’(or inflation) in there hand. Because it is directly related to common man’s life. But I personally feel that this dearness is totally unavoidable as there huge hike in oil price.
Still if UPA wouldn’t able to win a confidence motion at parliament then they will face a music of inflation and dearth. Because this is the main issue for people than nuclear deal! And this will help BJP but not Congress and Left parties.

Makar Sankranti Marathi: मकर सङ्क्रान्ति

Makar Sankranti
Makar Sankranti  Marathi: मकर सङ्क्रान्ति or Sankranti or Sankranthi marks the transition of the Sun into Makara rashi (Capricorn) on its celestial path. Traditionally, this has been one of many harvest days in India.
Makar Sankranti is one of the most auspicious occasions for the Hindus, and is celebrated in almost all parts of the country in myriad cultural forms, with great devotion, fervour & gaiety. It is a harvest festival. Makar Sankranti is perhaps the only Indian festival whose date always falls on the same day every year i.e. the 14th of January.
Makar Sankranti is the day when the glorious Sun-God begins its ascendancy and entry into the Northern Hemisphere and thus it signifies an event wherein the Sun-God seems to remind their children that 'Tamaso Ma Jyotir Gamaya', may you go higher & higher, to more & more Light and never to Darkness.
To Hindus, the Sun stands for knowledge, spiritual light and wisdom. Makar Sankranti signifies that we should turn away from the darkness of delusion in which we live, and begin to enjoy a new life with bright light within us to shine brighter and brighter. We should gradually begin to grow in purity, wisdom, and knowledge, even as the Sun does from the Day of Makar Sankranti.
The festival of Makar Sankranti is highly regarded by the Hindus from North to down South. The day is known by various names and a variety of traditions are witnessed as one explores the festival in different states.
Owing to the vast geography and diversity of the culture of India, this festival is celebrated for innumerable reasons and in innumerable ways depending on the climate, agricultural environment, cultural background, and location.

IPL - Indian Political League

The great Indian Political League
Hi friends Nilesh here once again. Comes with a new topic, Indian Elections.
As there will polling for Loksabha from 16th April. That will be held in 4 steps.
I want to give readers the brief of elections in India. In India there are approximately 1500 Authorized registered political parties!!! and 7 national parties according to Election Commission of India.
Those parties are
1) Indian National Congress (INC, led by Mrs. Sonia Gandhi),
2) Bhartiy Janata Party (BJP led by Mr. L.K. Advani)
3) Nationalist Congress Party (NCP, led by Mr. Sharad Pawar),
4) Communist Party of India (CPI led by Mr. A.B. Bardhan),
5) Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPM, led by Mr. Prakash Karat)
6) Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP led By Miss. Mayawati),
7) Rashtriy Janata Dal(RJD led by Mr. Lalu Prasad Yadav).
As I told you there are around 1500 parties in India so single party rule is not possible here. (As there are various regions, languages & religions in India). Now the situation is that similar philosophy parties come together and form a Government. So there are 3 alliances. 1) U.P.A. (United Progressive Alliance) – The Current Government, Led by Congress.
2) N.D.A. (National Democratic Alliance) – The Opposition, led by Bartiy Janata Party.
3) Third Front. (In this front all parties come together who wants that country require the Government other than Congress & BJP or other than UPA & NDA).
But Third front is not united and strong so there will be direct fight between UPA & NDA in most of the states.
Congress Party is the oldest party in the India. Congress party and similar philosopher parties thinks that all religions should live together peacefully. They believe on Secularism.
Bhartiy Janata Party (The Main Opposition Party) and similar philosopher parties thinks that Majorities in India are Hindus so they should be in the power and India Should be a Hindu Nation.
(Like Pakistan is Islamic Nation.)
Communist Parties or Left Front thinks that there is no religion and all are Indians only they are against Capitalism & Hinduism.
The only party that has representatives all over India is Congress party. Base of BJP is Hindi belt region and Communist are in 3 states only but there are so strong over there.
By the way I’m from Maharashtra State. And here NCP is no 1 party then Congress then Shivsena & then BJP.
Ruling parties are NCP & Congress.
So this is brief information about Indian Politics or Indian Election. Curiosity wills over on 16th May 09 that is deciding day/result day.
So keep watching keep, listening, keep reading The Great Indian Political League.

MARATHI FESTIVAL

       गणपति बाप्पा मोरया
Ganesha Chaturthi (Devanagari: गणेश चतुर्थी), also known as Vinayaga Chaturthi  is the Hindu festival of Ganesha, the son of Shiva and Parvati, who is believed to bestow his presence on earth for all his devotees in the duration of this festival. It is the birthday of Ganesha who is widely worshipped as the god of wisdom, prosperity and good fortune.
The festival is observed in the Hindu calendar month of Bhaadrapada, starting on the shukla chaturthi (fourth day of the waxing moon period). The date usually falls between 20 August and 22 September. The festival lasts for 10 days, ending on Anant Chaturdashi (fourteenth day of the waxing moon period).
While celebrated all over India, it is most elaborate in western and southern India. Outside India, it is celebrated widely in Nepal and by Hindus in the United States, Canada and Fiji.

                                                 विठू माजा लेकुरवाला

The PANDHARPUR….PANDHARPUR’s VITTHAL is undoubtedly the premier deity of Maharashtra. We used to go there during ‘vaari’. (it is a great march towards pandhrpur from deferent parts of Maharshtra is called ‘VAARI’ and people in that march called ‘VAARKARI’. and that culture is ‘VAARKARI SAMPRDAY’ ). And it is a great tradition of Maharashtra over 1000 years. We manage a meal to that people once in a year during vaari since last 8 years. And we feel very glad about that and during that meal atmosphere is sensational.
It is, perhaps, the greatest centre of attraction for the masses as far as the spiritual field goes. The enormity of the influence Vitthal and the Varkari Sampradava have exercised over the life of the Marathi people becomes obvious even from cursory glimpses of some of the very broad aspects of our cultural life. A great mass of Marathi literature of the pre British period is devoted to the praise and prayer of Vithoba and the propagation of the Varkariculter. Perhaps more important and significant is the fact that some of the most enlightened minds of Maharashtra have merged themselves completely in the devotion Vitthal. sect has attracted for the last thousand years people belonging to various castes and communities, from various professions and callings, from the learned and from the uninitiated. since lakh’s of people used to come Pandharpur still their management is as good as howards or any British US management school have. So that now they are studying on this vaari. Because STILL NOW FROM THERE NOT SINGLE NEWS OF ACCIDENT LIKE STAMPEDE OR FIRE!!!!!! (This is absolutely Mind blowing thing!) as these things or so usual in other yatra’s. this is called management at it’s best!!!!.
Hats off to Vaari and Vaarkari…
VITHHAL VITHHAL VITHHALAA HARE RAAM VITHHALA….
